This is the house of living pictures and words. RIDGE appears in a historical opening night of searchlights, fireworks and fanfare, as the most modern theatre in Canada in April 13, 1950. Situated at 16th Avenue along the Arbutus Tramline tracks that operates until 1958 it was home to the Vancouver Foreign Film Festival. The mecca movie house seemed to transcend time and change until it closed its magic doors forever in 2013.
